CONFUSING: Is it A Charge of DUI Number 3, Even Though Suspect May Have Previously Been Charged With 3-DUI's?

The official charge is DUI number 3, but when it hits the courtroom it may be looked upon by the judge as a 4th DUI. 51-Year old Gregory W. Burrow was said to be involved in an injury accident on West Clark Boulevard on Saturday night in Murfreesboro. Police charged Burrow with DUI number 3. He was convicted of DUI once in Rutherford County and once in Maury County. Now, here is where the line may be slightly blurred. The arrest report stated, “Mr. Burrow has one pending DUI case in Marshall County, TN.” That being said, he could not legally be charged with DUI number 4, because he only has two actual DUI convictions. The 3rd has yet to be decided in court.

For this most recent charge in Rutherford County, DUI number 3, Burrow will appear in court on June 25, 2013.
