Getting a DUI should be enough to make someone stop drinking and driving but for one woman this wasn't enough. WGNS' Emily Kinzer has the story.

VERBATIM: Murfreesboro Police pulled over Christie Prater on Sunday for driving the wrong way on the 1-way downtown square in Murfreesboro. The officer suspected she had been drinking and gave her a field sobriety test. After failing the test she was taken to the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center. But this isn't the first time either. She already had two DUI's from 2007 in both Rutherford and Davidson counties. She was jailed instead of paying the $3,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on October 28th.

A Coolidge Court woman is charged with her third DUI. Thirty-seven year old Christie Prater was stopped by Murfreesboro Police Sunday after reportedly driving the wrong way around the downtown square, which is one way. She failed field sobriety tests and the arresting officer, suspecting drinking while driving, made the arrest. Once taken to the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center, it was revealed Prater had a prior DUI in Davidson County in August of 2007 and in Rutherford County from November 2007. She will be in General Sessions Court on October 28th and was jailed in lieu of 35-hundred dollars bond.
