Cost of Electricity Up

The cost of electricity is high in the Volunteer state. According to the USA TODAY, the cost of electricity is 9.23-cents per kilowatt hour. That number was from last year and still holds true today. The report also says that Americans are using more electricity than in the past with an increase of electronic devices and larger homes to heat during the winter when compared to homes 30-years ago. That being said, while things are more energy efficient, we have more things to power.
