Several counterfeit $50 bills, fake $5 bills and hypodermic needles were seized during a traffic stop in Murfreesboro this week.

29 Year old Erica Marie Hazzard was pulled over after failing to come to a complete stop at an intersection. When she refused to allow police to search her car, a K-9 officer was called in. The dog alterted on the driver side door, which gave police reasonable cause to search the vehicle.

During the search, police found the fake money and the needles, but no drugs. After being transported to the police department where she was questioned, Hazzard asked for lawyer and would not give police any details of the counterfeit money or the syringes.

Hazzard, who is currently homeless, was booked under a $12,000 bond and charged with criminal simulation and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hazzard remains jailed at this time.
