(MURFREESBORO) - In a joint meeting of the Rutherford County School Board and the County Commission's Health and Education Committee, the school's 307-point-four-million dollar budget was approved. The meeting was held last (Tuesday) night and is now off to the county commission's Budget Committee for their 5:30 meeting tonight (Wednesday). School officials say they cut about one-million out of their projected budget despite an expected increase of 12-hundred students district wide next school year.
