County's Newest High School Opens Doors

Close to three-thousand parents and students flooded the halls and the gym of the brand new Stewarts Creek High School in Smyrna to see it for the first time Sunday...

Parents and students commented to Fox 17 news, during the ribbon cutting at the newest high school. Stewarts Creek will also offer specialization programs like dentistry, health sciences, auto repair and criminal justice. At 358,000 square feet, Stewarts Creek is the biggest school in Rutherford County. All county school students will be back in the classroom Thursday for an abbreviated day with the first full day next Monday (August 12th).
