$100 bills were printed on $5 bills in a recent scam that unfolded from a CraigsList ad. The victim told police he posted his Xbox 1 on CriagsList and received a call from a man who told him to meet at Campus Crossing Apartments in Murfreesboro. Upon the victim meeting the scam artist, the culprit gave the victim the fake money and quickly fled with his new Xbox 1 gaming system. Well, not exactly fake money, as we stated earlier $5 bills made to look like $100 bills. In other words, the subject stole the Xbox 1 for $20.

When the victim realized he had been taken, he called the police. Officers placed the four fake $100 bills into evidence. At this point, no arrests have been made.
