A person selling a flat screen TV on CraigsList was scammed by the subject who bought the device. The victim said that she received a text suggesting the person wanted to buy her 42" Vizio. She agreed to meet in the Walmart parking lot. The victim accepted the money in twenties and fifties, but did not realize at the time the money was fake.

According to a police report, the victim noticed that the money was counterfeit after she got back in her car and as the suspect was driving away. The money was placed into evidence by police and the TV is long gone.
