Less than two-weeks ago, the Cripple Creek Cloggers were hosting dance groups visiting International FolkFest here in Murfreesboro. On Thursday (6/30/2016), the tables turn and our local folk dance troupe begins a two-week tour of festivals in France.
Steve Cates, who founded the Cripple Creek Cloggers as a 4-H project at Kittrell Elementary School in 1967, continues to coordinate the local ambassadors. In fact, he will be updating the folks at home about the adventures of the local dancers over WGNS AM-FM and its website. The dance troupe will be in France through July 16th.
