A dead body was found in Murfreesboro on Wednesday morning. The deceased was located in the Kroger parking lot on Old Fort Parkway.

Officers were first dispatched to the store around 7:30 Wednesday morning. Police located the deceased person inside a parked vehicle.

Sgt. Kyle Evans told WGNS, "The death is not believed to be suspicious. The Criminal Investigation Division is conducting a routine unattended death investigation."
