A Franklin County Sheriff's Department Detective somehow lost his .45 caliber gun and bullet proof vest in Murfreesboro. The ballistic vest and Glock were evidently in the detective's car when it went missing or perhaps when it was stolen. The car was parked at Ashwood Cove apartments on North Tennessee Boulevard in Murfreesboro.

The complainant who filed the report in Murfreesboro was Franklin County Detective Nick Watson. At this point, no word on who may have stolen the detective's gun and vest.
