Richard Lee, from Southbranch Nursery and a Certified Master Gardener will be the speaker this Tuesday, June 10 at the Community Center during Farmer's Market. The topic is "Succession Planting" and will focus on how to keep your garden growing all season with continuous planting. "This is a class on the better use of the space you have. You always want to plant what you will eat but you need to stagger your plantings. It requires a plan. I will have a hand-out on planting dates to help you plan," says Richard. The class starts at 9 a.m.

On Friday, Extension Agent Mitchell Mote will review "What to Expect When You Hire A Lawn Service." This class starts at 9 a.m. as well."Lawn services are not gardeners. Before you get into an agreement, you need to know what is included to avoid any disappointment. Knowing what to ask will help keep  things clarified as to what they do," says Mitchell.
