Donation of a truck to the Rutherford County Fire and Rescue Department

The Consolidated Utility District is donating a Ford truck to the Rutherford County Fire and Rescue Department.

Rutherford County Fire Chief Larry Farley said the vehicle will be converted to be used to fight brush fires.

A special presentation of the truck will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, July 31 at the Consolidated Utility District's main office at 709 New Salem Highway in Murfreesboro.
