Downtown Icon Herschel Mullins Dies At Age 96

Longtime jeweler Herschel Mullins has passed away. Mullins opened Mullins Jewelry Store on the Rutherford County Square in 1938. The store stayed in businesses until 2010. It was one of the oldest businesses on the square when it closed. Mullins was 96 when he died on Tuesday. Woodfin Funeral Chapel are in charge of his arraignments.

Visitation will be 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be on Thursday at 2:00.
