Middle Tennessee Medical Center (MTMC) is pleased to welcome board certified general surgeon, Dr. Robert H. Durgin, to its medical staff.

Durgin received his medical degree from the University of Louisville Medical School in Louisville, Ky. and completed his residency in general surgery at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Durgin also served in the US Army Medical Corps for three years after completing his residency. He is board certified in general surgery.

Dr. Durgin specializes in acute care general surgery, minimally invasive surgery, wound care, and hyperbarics.

Dr. Durgin is now seeing patients at Murfreesboro Surgical Specialists.
