Dr. Susan Andrews Being Honored By City School's Foundation

Murfreesboro City School Foundation's 6th Annual Excellence in Education Celebration will be at 7:00 o'clock Friday night, February 8, 2013, at the Stones River Country Club. It will honor Dr. Susan Andrews, MD, who served on the city school board for 16-years.

Dr. Andrews and her husband, Dr. Randall Rickard, have been a family medicine team in this community for over three decades.

The Foundation provides funding for teacher grants and parity dollars benefiting the diverse population of students that comprise Murfreesboro City Schools.

The 2013 Celebration includes humorist and storyteller, Jack McCall. McCall will amuse attendees as he seamlessly crosses generational lines and provides the crowd with a sense of renewal towards the spirit of education.

Hosting the Premiere pre-party the night of the event are Drs. Max and Mary Moss. The pre-party is open to event sponsors and their guests as well as guests who contribute an additional $50 towards the Foundation.
