This Saturday in Murfreesboro in the Oakland Middle School Parking Lot:

Ford Motor Company and Ford of Murfreesboro are introducing new products to consumers in a unique way that not only helps raise awareness and consideration for the Ford brand but also helps support community schools. Participants in the "Drive 4UR School" program can test-drive Ford vehicles and help raise much-needed funding for the Oakland High School Golf Team.

For each test-drive taken at the one-day event, Ford & Ford of Murfreesboro will give $20, up to a total of $8,000.

Ford of Murfreesboro Marketing Director Brock Patterson said, "This is a unique way to showcase a variety of wonderful Ford products in a low-pressure setting while also demonstrating our dedication to helping the community."

Patterson says the success of the "Drive 4UR School" program is driven by strong collaboration between the dealership and Rutherford County schools. This fall Ford of Murfreesboro is helping the Oakland High School Golf Team to raise funds for their program. Oakland High School Golf Coach Web Hutchings said, "We have a once in a lifetime opportunity to raise money for sport that doesn't receive the same attention as other sports." Hutchings says this fundraiser is a two-part event- help our team while promoting our sponsor Ford of Murfreesboro.

This grassroots approach to helping the schools and marketing enables Ford and Ford of Murfreesboro to reach the community in a completely new way. Ford of Murfreesboro is planning on having 400 test drives on Saturday October 22, 2016 from 9:00am-2:00pm in the Oakland Middle School parking lot.
