"Driving on Revoked" for the 8th Time

We have another story to report about a local resident receiving 5 or more “Driving on a Revoked License” charges. This time, 50-year old Randall Bly has been charged for the 8th time with “Driving on a Revoked License.”

Bly was stopped by Murfreesboro Police on Mercury Boulevard at Minerva Drive. He was stopped because of a simple registration violation. When police questioned Bly, it was realized that he had seven prior “Driving on a Revoked License” charges. He also had two outstanding warrants for his arrest.

After Bly was taken to jail and charged for the 8th time with “Driving on a Revoked License,” he was booked under a $17,000 bond. The warrants were for his failure to appear in court and violating his probation. He currently remains behind bars and will have to appear in court on September 25, 2014.

Looking Back:

Looking at past court records, it would appear that a lot of Bly’s driving license status problems started about 15-years ago in 1999. That was when Bly failed to show up in a Davidson County courtroom for a “Driving on a Revoked License” charge. From that year on, the charges continued to build.
