Come hungry and plan to eat lunch at the festival.  There will be over 40 vendors at the event, including Maggie Moo’s, Two Guys in a Lunch Box, Papa’s Italian Ice, popcorn, cotton candy, and Publix cookies to decorate.

The Child Advocacy Center Quack Team will race 12,000 rubber ducks down the Duck-O-Bunga slide into the swimming pool at Sports*Com.  The Corporate Duck Race will begin at 1:00 p.m., the first duck heats at 2:00 p.m., and the winner’s race will be held at 4:04 p.m.

The owners of the first ducks to cross the finish line will win 10 duck-tabulous prizes, with a grand prize of $5,000!   Proceeds from the Duck Derby will fund services for child abuse victims and the “Darkness to Light” trainings that educate adults how to protect children from child sexual abuse.

Come enjoy the free children’s festival and watch the ducks race!  You can adopt your ducks online at www.boroduckderbyadoptions.com or at the festival on race day.  You do not have to be present to win.
