The tournament concludes on Sunday with consolation and championship games. The losers from Saturday’s games will play at 1 p.m. CT in a consolation contest, while the winners will square off for the championship at 3:30 p.m. CT.
This marks the first year of the tournament’s expansion from eight to 12 teams. The traditional tournament, celebrating its 28th year, will take place Nov. 21-23 at the Lahaina Civic Center in Lahaina, Hawaii, and features Duke, Georgetown, Kansas, Memphis, Michigan, Tennessee, UCLA and host Chaminade. Earlier this week, the seven teams heading to Maui hosted Mainland Teams in the newly-formed Opening Games. The Mainland Teams, including Belmont, UNC Greensboro, Towson and Middle Tennessee, will gather this weekend for the inaugural Regional Games.
Tickets for the Regional Games are $10 for adults and $5 for youth, ages 3-12, and can be purchased through the Blue Raider ticket office or by calling 1-888-YES-MTSU. Fans need only to purchase one ticket per day, as the ticket will allow admittance to both games on a given day. Middle Tennessee fans can take double advantage of their tickets this weekend as well. A fan purchasing a ticket to the football game versus Arkansas State will be able to attend the basketball doubleheader on November 19 at no additional cost. Likewise, any fans purchasing a ticket to the basketball game on Saturday can also attend the football game.
