Early Morning House Fire on Baird Lane

On Saturday morning at approximately 4AM, the Murfreesboro Fire Department responded to a fire call at 222 North Baird lane. In talking with Assistant Chief Allen Swader, it was learned that there were four occupants in the house when it caaught fire. Firefighters Jeremy Morris and Travis Bryant made entry into the house and rescued a female, who was over come by smoke. She was transported to MTMC for treatment of smoke inhalation. The female is the only home occupant who had to be transported to the hospital. The house appeared to be a total loss.
