Voters in Rutherford County continue to show their support for the flexibility and convenience of early voting.  Through the first five days of the early voting period, 20,243 voters have cast their ballots, compared to 19,986 votes cast during the same period in 2008.

“Rutherford County voters are making it clear they want their voices to be heard in this election,” said Administrator of Elections Nicole Lester .  “We are hopeful that the rest of the early voting period will be just as successful as our first few days.”
