  Email   Print

On Saturday, March 15, 2014, Evergreen Cemetery will being their mowing season. This is the large cemetery in the downtown area that is bordered by Highland Avenue and Greenland Drive.

Those with loved ones buried at Evergreen are encouraged to remove floral arrangements, and articles such as glass trinkets that are placed on or around the grave sites. Such items make it difficult for workers to mow, weed and maintain the beauty of Evergreen Cemetery.

The staff at Evergreen notes that saddles and floral arrangements in permanent mounted vases will not be removed, unless faded and unsightly.

If you have any questions, please phone the Evergreen Cemetery office at 615-893-5641.
