Fake CASH in the 'Boro, again

  Email   Print

More counterfeit money is turning up in Murfreesboro. This time, fake cash was used at On the Run gas station on Mercury Boulevard. The manager advised police that a second shift employee accepted four $10-bills that were all counterfeit. A fake $100 bill was used at Walmart the same day. In that case, the cashier told the culprit they would have to phone their manager before accepting it. The subject took off on foot.

Last week, another local business called the police after a fake $100 was used to pay a bill. No arrests or suspects have been named in any of the three cases.
