On Friday, November 27, 2015 at 9:28 PM, a fatal crash occurred on NW Broad St. approximately ½ mile West of State Route 840. This crash involved a single vehicle that left the roadway on a downgrade and struck a tree. The driver was treated on the scene by Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services and transported to ST. Thomas Rutherford Hospital where the driver was pronounced deceased.
