WGNS has confirmed that a fatal accident occurred Tuesday morning. The wreck was on State Route 840. Evidently, one person was ejected from a vehicle when the accident occurred. The wreck was near mile marker 61.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the crash at this time.
