Over $500 in merchandise was stolen from the Walmart store on Old Fort Parkway. Murfreesboro Police got the theft call on Monday night.

Apparently, a female loaded her shopping cart to the rim as if she had plans to pay for the items. She then hit the front door showing a Walmart employee a receipt that was dated November 27, 2015. The employee told the female to wait while he verified the receipt, but instead she left.

The woman made her way to the parking lot where she loaded the items into a small red pick-up truck. The license plate number on the truck was "UK-7176."

The suspect was described as a white female in her late 40's. She was heavy set and stood about 5'5". She had long black hair, according to the police report.

The theft was caught on video.
