Police searched for a male suspect who allegedly attacked a female at the Murfreesboro Motel on Wednesday morning, but turned up empty handed. The 20-year old victim evidently confronted an acquaintance about stealing $50 out of her purse. During the confrontation, the man threw the female against the wall of a hotel room where she struck her head and knocked out a tooth. The suspect then strangled the victim.

The victim did not pass out after being strangled and the culprit left the hotel room. The victim called the police and officers searched the area with negative results. The victim was taken to Middle Tennessee Medical Center where she was treated for her injuries.

There is still no word on an arrest. Once caught the suspect will face aggravated assault and aggravated robbery charges.
