There was a fire in nearby Bedford County on Sunday night. The incident occurred in a rural area on Kingdom Road at around 10-PM. Four people are believed to have died in the house fire. Killed in the blaze were a 7 and 9-year old and two adults. The identities of the deceased have not been released.  

Firemen had trouble fighting the flames because there were not fire hydrants readily available near the home. No word on what caused the fire.
