FirstBank Groundbreaking for Salem Cove Branch

FirstBank's groundbreaking for its new Salem Cove branch took place at 11:00 o'clock Thursday morning (2/28/2013) on the New Salem Highway in the Publix Shopping Center.

Temps in the 30's didn't slow an enthusiastic groundbreaking Thursday morning for a new FirstBank in the Publix Shopping Center on the New Salem Highway. It will be known as the Salem Cove branch.

Community Growth Continuing

Forecasters continue to predict that Rutherford County will become larger than Hamilton County (Chattanooga). The current local population is over 260,000, and studies show Rutherford County should be at 310,000 in only two-years, and explode to 420,000 by 2030. To give you a clearer picture, current population estimates for Hamilton County are 340,855.
