FirstBank to hold groundbreaking for new bank

Another WGNS advertiser is expanding and building a new location. FirstBank will break ground on the newest branch in Murfreesboro on Thursday, February 28, (11 AM) at a ceremony for the new location at 2670 New Salem Highway in Murfreesboro.

The opening of the New Salem location marks the 13^th Middle Tennessee FirstBank location, continuing the expansion for one of the bank’s most influential and important markets. Special guests who will be present at the ceremony include FirstBank executives and Rutherford County officials. Light refreshments will be provided for attendees.

The Murfreesboro Social Security Office has reduced public office hours 30-minutes each weekday. It is now open Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 3:00PM. PLUS: the office now closes at NOON every Wednesday.
