Counterfeit bills have reared their ugly head in Murfreesboro. One counterfeit $20-bill was taken in at a store on Bridge Avenue. Another $20-bill was taken in at a local McDonalds and three bills were found on the floor of a movie theater in Murfreesboro. The problem now is tracking down a culprit who may be printing these bills from home. The only clue police have to go by at this point is a man on surveillance video at the store on Bridge Avenue handing the clerk one of the five fake bills found.
