A 25-year old Davy Crockett Drive man has been arrested on charges of extortion. According to Murfreesboro Police, Grant Sulls is accused by a local woman of trying to force her to pay him a sum of money. She reported he threatened to take further action against the victim's daughter and get custody of her grandchild if she didn't comply with his demands. After taking a statement from the victim, officers located Sulls at his home. A criminal background check also uncovered he was wanted as a fugitive from justice on charges from Florida. He was jailed at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center and is being held for Florida authorities. He'll be in court to answer to the extortion charges on April 14th.
