A T-S-U football player collapsed and died during practice. Nineteen-year old Wayne Jones was rushed to Baptist Medical Center around 4 o'clock Wednesday after becoming unresponsive during practice. He died at the hospital. Jones played football and basketball at Smyrna High School. T-S-U Athletic Director Teresa Phillips said it's a tragic day for the university and they're devestated by the sudden passing of Jones. He was a redshirt freshman for the Tigers and just graduated from Smyrna last spring.
