Former Rutherford County Sheriff's Department Colonel Eddie Farmer was arrested in Robertson County, Tennessee this past February. In 2014, the Robertson County Sheriff's Office and Jail told WGNS that Farmer was booked because he had a Capias filed in Circuit Court.

We later learned that 55-year old Farmer and his former girlfriend, 28-year old Catrina McQuiston were accused of allegedly coercing a boy and girl into having sex in 2010. The TBI investigated the case.

Since the story first broke 11-months ago, we have learned that Farmer has reached a plea deal in Robertson County. Farmer has filed a guilty plea to "facilitation of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor" and "attempt to commit tampering with evidence."

As a result of the deal that was reached in court earlier this week, Farmer will have to register as a sex offender and will not be able to practice law in Tennessee. He will also be on supervised probation.

Charges of "facilitation of especially aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor" and "aggravated statutory rape" was placed against McQuiston. She too will be listed as a sex offender and be under the close eye of the law while on supervised probation for the next six years.
