Middle Tennessee Medical Center (MTMC) has added four new community leaders to it foundation's board. The appointment of Rev. Colin Ambrose, Ken Halliburton, Paula Mansfield and Mark Polk was announced by the local hospital.

“It is with great excitement that we welcome our new board members,” said Anne Davis, MTMC Foundation Director. “These four outstanding members of our community and foundation donors represent the best of Rutherford County. They bring years of experience from the areas of faith, insurance, banking and law, respectively, to share with our board, as we work to support the hospital’s healing mission.

“MTMC represents one of the largest, if not the largest, Christian ministry in Murfreesboro,” Ambrose said. “As MTMC’s mission states, its work is ‘rooted in the loving ministry of Jesus as healer.’ I’m excited to be a part of this ministry.”

“I am honored to serve the MTMC Foundation,” Mansfield said. “I believe in the mission of the Foundation and have seen the impact of their work to help meet the most pressing medical needs of our community.”

Polk has lived in Murfreesboro since 1988 when his father, T. Allen Polk, M.D., and mother, Janet Polk moved to Murfreesboro for Dr. Polk to practice medicine. He is an attorney in Murfreesboro. He is a member of the Blue Raider Athletic Association, Cason Lane Church of Christ and Andrew Jackson American Inn of Court.
