The Berger Gallery at the Arts Center of Cannon County is in full-color with paintings by Murfreesboro's Frank Baugh.

He is a teaching artist who explained, "The paintings in my current body of work emerge from an intuitive process of adding and subtracting layers of paint and ink to create an uneasy stillness that is pregnant with the possibility of meaning and personal mythology. Subject matter often presents itself to me arbitrarily, only to later reveal its hidden connections to both memories and dreams. I value the dialogue that a work can create by leaving possibilities open and stories unfinished. I hope to provide the viewer with space to make connections while still maintaining a sense of mystery."
