At least five people who deliver Daily News Journal newspapers and work under a company called KJM Distribution, not to be confused with Gannett, the parent company of the Daily News Journal, have filed fraud reports with the Murfreesboro Police Department.

The workers say that their boss has bounced payroll checks and even failed to pay insurance policies they signed up for in July of this year. The employees of the newspaper delivery business claim that while their insurance policies were not paid, the money was deducted from their paycheck as if the policies were paid for.

The report filed with Murfreesboro Police shows that the alleged fraud adds up to nearly $2,000. The report was taken by MPD Officer Terry Spence earlier this month (December 16, 2015).
