William Hayes, president of Goodlettsville based Bears Trucking was following, and he stopped and got out of his SUV to check the tires on his firm's big truck. With no warning, the giant diesel rolled over the executive.

Hayes was rushed to the ER at StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna, where he later died.

No charges have been filed against the driver, who was behind the wheel of the tractor rig when the accident occurred. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is conducting a thorough investigation.
