The Rutherford County Soil Conservation District will give away 500 trees starting at 9:00 o'clock this Wednesday morning (2/13/2013) at the Lane Agri-Park, 315 John R. Rice Boulevard. Trees will only be given to landowners in Rutherford County, and there is a limit of five per landowner.

District Technician Joy Hall told WGNS News that the species to be given away on a "first come basis" will be Redbud, Indigobush, Red Mulberry and Hybrid Chestnut.
