On Wednesday (2/13/13) morning starting at 9:00 the Rutherford County Soil Conservation District Office (315 John R. Rice Blvd.) will be giving away FREE TREES. We are told that you need to get there early, they are given on a "first come" basis. ~ Did we say FREE TREES? ~ 

The FREE bare-root tree seedlings are available to Rutherford County landowners only.

The species available are Redbud, Indigobush, Red Mulberry and Hybrid Chestnut. There will be a limit of 5 trees per landowner.
