With that, G. Gordon Liddy hung up his microphone Friday. WGNS has broadcast the G. Gordon Liddy program for many years every weekday from 9am until noon. Liddy plans to remain with Radio America for commentator duties and special projects. WGNS wishes Mr. Liddy a happy retirement!

WGNS will begin to air more local programming in the slot previously anchored by Liddy. The Truman Show, with Truman Jones, will air from 9-10am, Rutherford Issues with Bryan Barrett from 10-11am and the Midday Report with Zach Troutman from 11-noon. The changes will also allow for an extra 30-minutes of the popular Clark Howard Show.
