I've never been one who could be considered a Liddy "fan" but I wish him all the best. What I'm hoping is that WGNS listeners will be given a chance to vote on a choice of shows to replace the Liddy show.

I enjoyed listening to Mr. Liddy. From what I gather, it wasn't his decision the retire.
I would like for WGNS to come up with another local program, similar to the Truman Show. Maybe give our state senators and representatives a show. How about having Sheriff Arnold do a show. WGNS had some fellows that did a political show on the weekends(they may still do it). Set up a show like they did. Heck, if nothing else, pick up the first part of the Mike Huckabee Show and run it until noon. Pick up Laura Ingram(whatever her name is), or, Neal Bortz. I would personally prefer the local programming. However, if WGNS must go national, at least get a host that raises peoples blood pressure.

yes, another local show would be great but if WGNS ends up going the syndicated route, PLEASE let listeners vote.
