Gambling Argument Ends in Assault with a 2X4

Two men who were allegedly gambling in a home on Riveria Drive on Monday evening reportedly got into a disagreement over the game. The police incident report shows that Salvstio Lopez accused Alex Vega of cheating and retrieved a 2X4 that he allegedly used to hit Vega. Vega told police that he then hit Lopez with a baseball bat.

When police arrived, the incident report (case 12-2430) shows that Lopez was found in the front yard of 908 Riveria Drive bleeding from a wound to the head. Police say that Lopez was unable to speak and was transported to the hospital. So far, no arrest has been made and the case was labeled as an aggravated assault.
