Over $3,000 in gift cards were rung up by a Walmart clerk and then fraudulently cashed in at the Old Fort Parkway location. The inside theft has been a crime in progress for over a month, according to a recent police document in Murfreesboro. A surveillance video also caught the worker suspending a transaction at the self-checkout line and allowing an acquaintance to leave without paying for nearly $500 worth of merchandise.

Tabitha Barlow was placed under citizens arrest by loss prevention at the store. She was charged with theft under $500 and theft over $1,000.
