Gobble, Gobble--Road Challenges Through November 24th

As we approach Thanksgiving week, beware of roadway turkeys creating problems. City Traffic Engineer Ram Balachandran checks his computer and warns motorists of potential problem areas now through November 24th.

Veterans Pkwy (New section between Barfield Road/Kimbro Road and Barfield Crescent Road)

Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM: Final Striping and Street Lighting work continues on Veterans Pkwybetween Lone Oak Drive and Barfield Road. There will be incidental lane closures and traffic interruptions. Appropriate traffic controls will be in-place. 

Bradyville Pike Road Survey Work (between Broad Street and Rutherford Blvd)

Expected NO Lane Closures: Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM: Surveying crews will be working along Bradyville Pike between Broad Street and Rutherford Blvd. There will be no lane closures. Appropriate traffic controls will be in-place.

Annual City Street Paving Project

Expected Lane Closures: Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM: Citymilling, paving, striping and casting crews will be working on the following streets and subdivisions: Expect lane shifts and traffic interruptions during these operations.

East Cason Trail Subdivision (Knight Dr & Stoney Meadow Dr, E Cason Trail, Cason Academy, Sunland Ct)
Bridge Ave (between New Salem Hwy and W Main Street)
Blaze Drive (East of Blackman Middle School)
