If you enjoy golf and love animals, Almost Home Animal Rescue will hold it Annual Birdies Fore Bodie (and friends) Golf Tournament on Monday, October 13th. Registration begins at 11:00AM and the tournament begins at 1:00PM. This will be at the Stones River Country Club, 1830 NW Broad St. This is a 4-man scramble ($100 per player). Proceeds help support the organization's programs that support homeless and displaced animals in the community.

Almost Home Animal Rescue notes that in order to continue to provide care for not only the animals currently in our care, but also for those in need of our help, and for the families who also depend on us for emergency assistance in times of need.

The upcoming Birdies Fore Bodie's event also includes a silent auction. If you have a business, Almost Home Animal Rescue asks that you consider donating one or more items to be included in the auction. In addition to the satisfaction of knowing you have helped a good cause, all auction donors will receive recognition through signage at the auction, and will be given an opportunity to provide marketing materials for each golfer's "Swag Bag." Donors will also be recognized on the group's website, www.birdiesforebodie.com.

Almost Home Animal Rescue is dedicated to improving the welfare of companion animals in our community through rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, spay/neuter, education, and awareness. The group has worked to save hundreds of animals since its inception in 2004.
