While for some, things slow down a bit over the holidays, that's not the case for area high school basketball teams. Most are participating in pre-and-post Christmas holiday tournaments and classics. In fact, the five top girls teams from District 7-Triple-A were in pre-Christmas tournament championship games around the Southeast. Just another reason some of the best hoops in the country are played right here in Rutherford County. The Smyrna girls will play Bradley Central, followed by the Riverdale girls versus Lee, Alabama. Pregame coverage will begin at 5:15pm Saturday.
