An 87-year old grandmother with a kind heart was the victim of theft by deception. Her grandson allegedly took her car and car title and sold it for $30. Apparently the grandson told his grandmother that her car had been towed and that he needed the title to retrieve it. The 2007 Toyota Camry that was sold for a mere $30 was valued at $15,000. Joshua Steven Hearnsberger is also accused of running up a $1,300 bill on his grandmothers’ credit card.

Hearnsberger was arrested on Tuesday and charged with theft. The 29-year old was also charged with violating his bond conditions. He was locked up in the county jail under an $18,000 bond.
