Green Bean Party

A green bean party will be held on Saturday. 800-pounds of green beans will be delivered to First Presbyterian Church in Murfreesboro and volunteers from the church will individually bag the fresh green beans and then distribute them to area food agencies for the less fortunate in Rutherford County.

BULLETIN: New Hours at Social Security Office
The Murfreesboro Social Security Office has reduced public office hours 30-minutes each weekday. It is now open Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 3:00PM. PLUS: the office now closes at NOON every Wednesday. Social Security employees will continue to work their regular shifts, but this change allows time for face-to-face consultations as well as processing more claims.
